Thanksgiving and our trip to the V-A!

Chad and I celebrated Thanksgiving with Mom on Wed. She made an amazing meal, and I was so glad we only had to eat once on T-giving day. Both of our families make such delicious meals that it is hard to only eat a little bit, but we were able to stuff ourselves this year b/c we celebrated on different days. After family time on Thursday with the Pendley's we left for Virginia to see our good friends Joanthan and Mandy. We finally go tto meet baby Landon, too. It was so nice to be able to visit with them. I played "mommy" all weekend. I guess practice makes perfect! :) It was so much fun, but a lot of hard work. I admire all mothers in the world. There is no job harder than being a mom, and I only got taste of it. I took a lot of pics of Landon b/c he is such a beautiful baby. I will post more later. Hopefully they are coming to visit in January!

My 25th Birthday!

Chad planned a birthday get together for my 25th birthday. I cannot believe I am a quarter of a century! I had an amazing birthday that was surrounded by my wonderful family (both sides). We had an Italian feast. My mom made her famous lasagna and Darlene made spaghetti, a yummy salad, and bread. I was stuffed! I did manage to save room for some cake and CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY ice cream! Very tasty!! I am such a lucky girl.

Ashlyn's 3rd Birthday!

Ashlyn, Amber's little girl, turns 3 on October 26th. We celebrated here b-day this weekend. It was a party fit for a princess. I also got to spend some time with two of my best friends, Ash and Amber.

Noah came to visit!

Chad and I got to watch Noah the other night while Jason cut the grass. He is so much fun! Here are just a couple pictures of our night. Come back anytime, Noah!!

Erin and Lane's Wedding

Chad and I went to our friend's wedding this weekend. I did not get a lot of pictures, but I did get a few of us. I felt totally pampered that day. My sister-in-law, Summer came over to do my make up. She is an amazing make up artist! I love how she did my eyes. Then, I went over to a teacher friend's house and she one of my friend's hair and my hair, too. It was such a fun day! The wedding was gorgeous and it brought back so many memories from our own wedding. I would love to get married again (to Chad of course!) b/c I loved everything about the whole wedding process. The pictures are not that great. Our digital camera is a little out dated, but we upgraded today, so our future pictures will be much better!

Chad and I and Daniel and Kendall went to Blue Ridge for a long weekend. It was very relaxing. Just what we needed! Chad got to fish, and Kendall and I got to talk girl talk and catch up on our latest Hollywood gossip. It was beautiful and peaceful in the mountains. Next time we want to go kayaking or tubing. It looked like so much fun!

Chad's 25th Birthday!!

We had a family get together for Chad on Monday for his birthday. I can't believe he is 25, and that I will be 25 in 2 months! Ahhh! Terry and Darlene cooked some yummy hamburgers and hot dogs with all of the fixings. It was so good. We finished it off with a delicious ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Chad was so excited because he go the bow he had been wanting. Now he is ready for hunting season! Watch out!

Braves Game

Terry and Darlene have season tickets that they share with some other people. They are amazing seats! 18 rows behind home plate! We went to a Braves game on a Sunday with Daniel and Kendall. Little did we know we picked the hottest day of the year to be at the Braves game. It was 95 degrees, and it felt even hotter. We had fun, but next time we will not go when it is so hot. We were drenched in sweat by the end of the game. Here are some nice sweaty pics!

The first few weeks aof school are going great. It is such an exhausting, but rewarding job. I love my class and my school. Here are some before and after pics of my classroom.

Spring Break 2007

Chad and I met Mandy and Jonathan in Myrtle Beach for a much needed vacation. We had beautiful weather and I went to the beach everyday. (Sometimes by myself b/c everyone else is not a beach bum like me!) I hurt my ankle playing putt-putt a couple days before we left, but we still managed to have a great time. We had lots of good food, fun, and relaxation. It was so good to Mandy and Jonathan, too, because now it is not very often we get to see them since they moved back to the V-A. Chad and I are already planning our next beach trip!!

Our 1 year anniversary!!

Chad and I celebrated our one year anniversary. It was low key, but we truly enjoyed it. We went out to dinner and ate some of our cake top. It really was not bad! It was even still moist! The camera died when I was trying to take a pic of both of us together so we just have individual pics :( This past year has been so busy, yet so amazing. I love being married to my best friend. He truly is a blessing from God. I always say he is my angel, and he continues to show me that everyday. I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for us!

Cobb Heart Ball 2007

We went to the annual Cobb Heart Ball last night with Terry and Darlene, Richard and Linda, and Judy and Johnny. We had so much fun, and Chad and I were entertained by everyone all night! I need to figure out how to use the red eye fixer, but this will do for now!

2006 was a very busy year for us! Maybe we can sit back, relax, and enjoy 2007 :) I will be starting my teaching job on the 19th, so I am very excited. So is Chad!! I hope y'all had a fantastic new year and have a very wonderful 2007!
