Myrtle Beach 2010

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Myrtle Beach with our good friends, The Arritt's. The beach was beautiful and it was fun having another little friend fo Maddie to play with. Maddie is still not a fan of the sand, but we were able to spend some time on the beach and most of our time at the pool. Mandy and I even got to have a shopping trip without the kiddos! Chad and Jonathan played a round of golf, so don't feel too bad for the boys! It was a great vacation. I am already looking forward to next year!

Maddie's 1st Pedicure

I tried to paint Maddie's toes last week but as soon as I finished she crossed her legs and they smeared. But, today I bought fast drying nail polish and tried again. She watched me in awe the whole time and when I was done she would look at them and say "Ooh wee!" It was so cute and they look adorable.

Splish, Splash

It's official, Maddie loves the pool. She will pat her chest to tell us "splish splash" and that means she wants to go the pool. Whether it's her baby pool or the neighborhood pool she is content jsut splashing and scooping the water. She has started to get braver and will jump to us from the side. I'm so happy she likes the pool now, b/c it is something fun (and free) to do!

My good friend took these pictures of Maddie at her son, Jet's, 1st b-day party. His party was amazing and we had such a fun time celebrating a special little boy. Jet's personality is hilarious and it truly showed at his party. Thanks Joanna!
