The Perfect Pumpkin

Soooooo behind...

I'm a horrible blogger...I really don't have any exuses, I just forget. Until I check everyone else's cute blogs and I remember that it has been 2 months since my last post and I feel overwhelmed that I won't even be able to catch up at this point! Anywho!! Maddie is going to be 3 (oh my goodness!!) in a little over a month. UNBELIEVABLE!! She is such a funny thing. I am totally enjoying staying home with her, but it can be very exhausting...especially since she gave up naps. :(
I've been bad about keeping up with all the things she is doing, but since I'm using this as her "baby book" I'm going to try to remember a few things:
~Counts to 15 (skips 6 sometimes though, haha!)
~Knows all her letters and letter sounds
~Knows all of the "normal" colors
~Recognizes a circle, square, triangle, diamond, oval, rectangle, star
~Wants to help me with everything... and will always start with "I a good helper, Mommy" :)
~Always has to answer the phone when it rings...and instead of saying "hello", she answers with "hey!"
~Sleeps from 7:30pm-7:45-8am
~Gave up naps in August
~LOVES gymnastics...she does great with her forward roll, does a back roll by her self on a wedge. She does great on the bars, but is very hesitant on the balance beam.
~Has a FANTASTIC memory...almost too good sometimes!
~Fave foods: chicken nuggets (especially Chick a lay or Old McDonald;s ;) ), mac and cheese, bananas, blueberries, grilled cheese (anything with cheese actually!) bagels (with "green cheese" AKA cream cheese!), pancakes, and suckers!
~LOVES Ariel (the little mermaid)
~sleeps with about 10 animals/Ariels and 8 blankets every night
~can throw a temper tantrum like no other! (Oh me, oh my!) They are getting better, but she is definitely strong willed!

I feel so incredibly blessed to be her mommy. She is a daddy's girl when daddy's home, but a mommy's girl all day! The excitement she shows when she hears Chad pulling into the garage after work is the cutest thing ever! She has to run to the door and just wave non stop as he is pulling in. And, before he leaves in the morning she has to have her hug/kiss. She will make sure to reming Chad if he has forgotten his "asses" haha! (glasses)

We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas this year. It is such a fun time to spend with family and having a little one it makes everything that much more excting and special!
