Fair 2011
We took Maddie to the North GA State Fair and she was so pumped about riding the rides...especially the "choo-choo" and "Nemo." Needless to say the rides would jerk a little when they would start and Maddie ended up not liking the rides at all! It was so sad, but a little funny, too. I'm the mean mom that was smiling, waving, and taking pictures while my poor baby was just crying on the ride. We only tried 2 rides and decided to just watch the other kids after that! She did get a big pink dolphin that she said would make riding the rides all better, but we decided not to chance it! ;) She loved seeing the animals and of course the food...just like mommy!
Gymnastics
Maddie has been taking gymnastics for almost 2 months now. She LOVES it! At first she was a little timid at trying some of the new obstacles, but now she is always ready to go! Her teacher is moving the class up to a 45 minute class next month b/c the girls are doing so well. Yay! She loves her teacher and classmates. Besides the physical activity they do, they also practice listening skills and following directions. This will be great for when she starts "school" next year.
