Maddie's 1st Steps
Maddie has been very cautious when it comes to walking. She always wanted a finger to hold on to for security, even when she really did not even need it. But, today, Maddie took her first steps!!!! We were over at Terry and Darlene's and Darlene just put her down to see if she would walk to Chad and she took off. It brought tears to our eyes. Every milestone is so much fun, but seeing your baby walk alone is truly amazing! We were all going crazy for her and she just acted like it was nothing. Ha! Here are a couple videos of us practicing at home. :)

Is There Something On My Face?
Maddie LOVES spaghetti. It can get very messy, but it is so funny to watch her eat it! I drive Maddie crazy wiping her face or nose everytime something is on it, but this is one time I just let her get as messy as she wants. :)

Maddie cheered on Phil Mickelson during the Masters today. She even wore her shirt that Big Daddy and Dede got her. Daddy hopes that Maddie will play golf with him one day...she's a Daddy's girl, so I'm sure he will have golfing buddy in no time!

Disney World and The O'Brien Wedding
We were fortunate enough to go to Orlando for one of my very best friend's wedding. It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding. We are so happy for BJ and Lindzey! While we were down there we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to vistit Disney. Maddie loves Playhouse Disney and we could not wait for to meet some of the characters she watches. I thought she would be afraid of the characters, but she LOVED them. She kept saying "Wow!" It was so much fun. Chad and I felt like big kids b/c we were so giddy to see all of the characters, too, and to see Maddie's reaction to everything. I can't wait to take Maddie back when she is older and can participate more in the activities...especially the princess dress up and tea. :)
