I got Chad a onesie that says, "Daddy Loves Me". It was one of the first "girl" things that I have bought. I think I am still in disbelief that we are having a girl. I feel so very lucky! Also, my mom-in-law got Maddie her first hair clips. They have her name on them and they are absolutely precious. I cannot wait till I can put them in her hair!

Happy 26th Birthday Chad!
Tonight we got the family together to celebrate Chad's birthday. It was a wonderful night! Terry and Darlene grilled out steaks for everybody and they were delicious. Chad was actually off today for his birthday. That rarely happens. He was able to have "boy time" with Jason and Noah, which also never happens b/c usually one of them is a the funeral home at all times. I think that he really enjoyed his birthday, and he definitely deserves it. This will be our last birthdays without our sweet baby girl. We both can't wait to meet her so she can join in on all the family fun! P.S. Don't we have the cutest nephew. He is Chad's little buddy. :)

It's a GIRL!
Chad and I went to our regular Dr.'s appt. on Monday and heard the heartbeat. It was much louder this time and was just as amazing as the first time we heard it. I gained 6 lbs!! I freaked out, but the nurse told me since I only gained 1 lb. my first trimester, this was normal and okay. Hopefully I don't gain 6 lbs. each month though! On Tuesday, we went to Baby's First Images for a gender determination. All day Tues. I was so nervous they would not be able to tell what Baby Pendley was, and right before our appt. I drank a bottle of water and Dr. Pepper. Well, it must of worked b/c we found out that we are expecting a baby GIRL!!! I think we were both in shock b/c girls are far and few between on the Pendley side of the family. We are both so extremely excited and it was beyond amazing to see our little girl. This was our first ultrasound, so it was so nice to be able to see the baby that is in my belly. She was posing and moving around so much during the ultrasound. It was unbelievable. We are going to take our families their in about 2 more months to have a longer 4D ultrasound when she is bigger. Oh, and our "she" has a name... Madison Grace, and we are going to call her Maddie. It is so much nicer to have a name for our baby instead of saying "it." We go back for our 20 week check up and ultrasound when I am 19 weeks on August 26th. (The day before Chad's b-day :) )I pray that she continues to grow and develop, and that we have a healthy baby girl. Here are a couple pics of my bump. I can definitely feel it growing and I am feeling her move like every other day, so I know it has to be her now! I love it! Please continue to keep all 3 of us in your prayers.
